1. SPONSOR & ELIGIBILITY
The Ball Drop Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Mission Hills Golf Course (the “Sponsor”).

The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) and the United States who have reached the age of majority in their province, territory, or state of residence at the time of entry.

Employees and staff of Mission Hills Golf Course are eligible to participate, provided that any participating employee is strictly prohibited from managing, operating, loading, or judging any aspect of the winner selection process.

2. CONTEST PERIOD & EVENT DATE

The physical Ball Drop event takes place on Oct 10, 2026 @ 2:30 pm at Mission Hills Golf Course.

3. PRIZE POOL & CALCULATION

• The total cash prize pool is calculated directly from total entries allocated prior to the drop, set at 50% of total revenue generated from $10 entries.

• Official prize amount will be based on the final entry count of balls, the total Grand Prize pool will be paid in CAD.

• The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable, and cannot be substituted.

4. WINNER SELECTION & DROP MECHANICS

• The assigned numbered golf balls will be loaded into a containment vessel and elevated above the designated target green using a ladder truck.

• All balls will be dropped simultaneously over the target flagstick.

• Determining the Winning Ball:

  1. The first ball to enter the target cup wins the Grand Prize.

  2. If no ball enters the cup, the ball coming to rest closest to the edge of the cup/flagstick (measured and verified by official Contest judges) will be declared the winning ball.

  3. In the event of more than one ball going in the cup or an exact distance tie between two or more balls, the prize will be divided equally among the tied entrants.

5. SKILL-TESTING QUESTION REQUIREMENT

To be declared the official winner and claim the cash prize, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, unassisted (without mechanical, digital, or third-party aid), a time-limited, multi-step mathematical skill-testing question (e.g., $(100 \times 5) + (200 \div 2) – 50$).

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION & CLAIMING PROCEDURES

The potential winner will be announced live immediately following the drop and contacted by phone or email within forty-eight (48) hours. If the selected entrant cannot be reached within seven (7) business days, fails the skill-testing question, or fails to sign and return a standard Declaration & Release form, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the entrant owning the next closest ball.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS & PRIVACY

• By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters.

• Personal information collected during this promotion is used solely for contest administration and winner notification in compliance with Canadian privacy legislation (PIPEDA / BC PIPA).
